Recover Gut Balance - H. pylori Therapy

Your intestinal tract is home to a population of bacteria (the “microbiome”) that play numerous roles in overall health. Invasive organisms – including the bacterium Helicobacter pylori – are often ingested orally through eating or close physical contact, leading to imbalances within the microbiome. More acutely, when infecting the stomach lining, organisms burrow in and multiply, leading to symptoms like abdominal pain, nausea, heartburn, and bloating. Chronic infection can even lead to long-term health conditions like ulcers, anemia, and even life-threatening diseases.

The cascade of effects caused by even a low-level, asymptomatic invasion by harmful bacteria in the stomach, can lead – in most cases slowly, over years – to a decrease in natural digestive processes which are replaced by inflamed tissues, sores, and potentially much more serious growths.

Complementary Support for H. pylori Therapies

Prescription drugs, like antibiotics, are the medical standard for treating invasive microbes. However, they also wipe out much of the beneficial bacteria in your gut, and can irritate your stomach lining, leaving you with rebound symptoms like nausea and diarrhea. Plant-based remedies, like berberine and mastic gum, have been used throughout history in multiple cultures not only to target the source of digestive issues but also to soothe the mucosal lining in the process. Pylori-X combines four powerful, proven ingredients to complement medical approaches, or act as part of a natural therapy for reclaiming microbiome balance. The Pylori-X Advantage

Pylori-X combines four rigorously studied ingredients to aid in preventing and resolving offensive stomach bacteria. The individual actions of each compound come together to provide broad-spectrum coverage for supporting elimination of toxins, as well as soothing and repairing injured tissues.

The Formula: Purpose

  • Zinc Carnosine – The health-promoting effects of zinc are enhanced significantly when combined with the peptide carnosine through the process of chelation. Zinc carnosine has been demonstrated to enhance the activities of anti-microbial substances in eradication therapies. It is also known for its ability to speed up tissue healing in gastric environments.
  • Mastic Gum Extract – Extracted as a resin from the plant Pistacia lentiscus, mastic gum possess powerful anti-microbial properties. It also enhances the repair of ulcer-induced wounds and eases digestive discomfort. When used consistently and regularly, it has been shown to speed up the elimination of bad GI bugs.
  • Berberine – Berberine sulfate is a botanical extract found in the roots and barks of various plants including barberry and goldenseal. It promotes healthy microbial balance in the GI tract and supports optimal inflammatory balance. Studies have shown – see below – that it can be effective in reducing populations of bacteria, such as H. pylori.
  • Bismuth Citrate – Bismuth citrate is a naturally occurring mineral, frequently used to soothe the gastric mucosa. It also promotes microbial balance in the GI tract. And while it is very common for bacteria to develop a resistance to various bacterial-balancing agents, it is unlikely they will develop resistance to bismuth citrate, making it well tolerated for regular use in prevention and eradication therapies.

FAQ: Pylori-X

Can children use Pylori-X?

Due to FDA regulations and limitations on pediatric studies of these ingredients, we cannot advise on how to dose Pylori-X for children. However, many of our professional customers use the product, just at lower doses.

Can I open the capsules and pour the powder into food or drinks?

This is not recommended, because you want the capsule to break up while in the stomach for optimal release into the intestines.

Is this better than matula tea?

While matula tea shows promise as a potential alternative treatment, it is largely promoted with grandiose claims and hype. Our ingredients are rooted in proven research and clinical application, and are well-tolerated for extended protocols.

The Formula: Science-Based Ingredients

  • Zinc (as Zinc Carnosine) – Zinc is a vital trace mineral that sparks hundreds of reactions within your body. Zinc carnosine, also known as polaprezinc, is a unique form of zinc that is well-known to promote the health of your gut’s mucosal lining [1]. Studies show that when zinc carnosine is added to the regimen against pylori, there is a significantly improved elimination rate without increased toxicity [2].
  • Mastic Gum Extract (Pistacia Lentiscus) (Resin) – Native to the Mediterranean, this antioxidant-rich resin has been used for centuries to soothe digestive symptoms and enhance liver health. Studies show that when patients supplement with mastic gum, elimination rates of pylori are significantly improved [3]. According to studies, mastic gum possesses a unique advantage in that it may exhibit antimicrobial efficacy against certain strains of treatment-resistant H. pylori [4]. Studies show that patients with digestive discomfort who supplement with mastic gum experience significantly reduced stomach pain and aching [5]. Mastic gum is also shown to exhibit several other beneficial properties, ranging from wound repair to cholesterol balance [6].
  • Berberine Hydrochloride Hydrate – Used within traditional Chinese medicine for centuries, berberine is a potent alkaloid that exhibits antimicrobial properties that target stomach irritation induced by pylori. Several studies suggest that when berberine is added to medication therapy, eradication rates are markedly increased with a significant concurrent improvement in nausea and diarrhea [7]. Additionally, berberine may help to protect your mucosal lining by targeting inflammation and neutralizing damaging free radicals produced by H. pylori [8].
  • Bismuth Citrate – Bismuth is an integral part of the treatment of pylori, exerting its bactericidal effects by interfering with the cell wall structure, enzyme creation, and adherence to your gut’s lining [9]. Bismuth also aids in mucosal protection by stimulating prostaglandin secretion and acting as a barrier against H. pylori. Bismuth has been shown through extensive research to exhibit high eradication rates, particularly in treatment-resistant cases [10].
